What exactly does ISVTEC do?
We run mission-critical web platforms: managed hosting, DevOps, cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery and application maintenance. Since 2003, senior engineers only.
Do you host our servers?
No. You subscribe to hosting directly, with AWS, Scaleway, OVHcloud, IONOS or the provider of your choice, cloud or dedicated servers. You keep full access to the account. We bill for the service, never for hardware.
Am I locked in? What happens if I leave?
Our subscriptions are monthly. You can end them in writing at any time, effective at the end of the following month. We never hold your access: we hand over credentials and operating documentation, and your backups on request. Most of our clients stay over 10 years.
What happens if my site goes down at 3 am?
Our on-call engineers step in, 24/7, on the Critical and Platform tiers. You receive the alert at the same second they do and follow what they do in real time. Every outage gets a post-mortem down to the root cause.
Response time or recovery time: what is the difference?
A response time guarantee covers when an engineer starts working. A recovery time guarantee covers when your service is back. We guarantee recovery in 1 hour, 24/7, with our Disaster Recovery Platform: it fails your full server over to a second datacenter in under 10 minutes.
Where are my backups, and can ransomware reach them?
Two backups per day, kept 30 days, encrypted, in Germany and Finland. They are isolated from your production: ransomware on your server cannot reach them. We restore anything from a full server to a single SQL table. Learn more.
Can you take over a platform run by another provider?
Yes, including legacy systems others refuse to touch. Inventory, security audit, monitoring and documentation on arrival, kickoff within 5 business days.
Do you work on our application code?
Yes, with our Application Maintenance offer: PHP, Python, WordPress, Drupal, PrestaShop, Magento. We do not do web design: you keep your agency or designer.
How much does it cost?
Every platform is different: we price on quote, after a scoping call. Fixed monthly price, written scope, no surprises.
Are you ISO 27001 or HDS certified?
ISO 27001, HDS, HIPAA, PCI DSS and SOC 2 certifications are in progress. Our infrastructure is GDPR compliant and our work is covered by professional liability insurance with Hiscox.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes, white-label: we run your clients' platforms, you stay their point of contact.
